Dr. Balfour’s unique, extensive experience in the medical field, provides patients with science-based mental health care with a particular expertise in psycho-oncology and psycho-dermatology. Dr. Balfour believes that one’s mental state can positively/negatively impact or trigger other medical conditions, and other medical conditions can create or exacerbate one’s mental state. Sessions are planned with this in mind, with the idea of breaking or reducing the negative impact of either condition.

We review pharmacogenetic (medication metabolism genetic study) testing results with you, should you choose to obtain such tests. These tests are conducted by laboratories specializing in personalized genetic pharmacology. We will have the laboratory kit sent to you.
